Hi Kato, love your blog!Im getting an Akita in a few weeks. thinking of naming him "Nippon". Its easy to say and people will get its a japanese breed right away.. But i dont want it to be offensive to any japanese, if i shpould ever meet any. Do you think the japanese will think that its an insult to name a dog after their country, or would they just think ts cute, like i would? :D
Well think of it as someone naming their dog 'America', 'Germany' etc. Some may not like it, but in the end it's your dog to name. Have fun.
